Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) today announced the appointment of Chris McLaughlin as the airport’s next Chief Executive Officer, following an extensive global search. Mr. McLaughlin will assume the role on May 19, succeeding current CEO Sean Donohue, who is retiring after more than a decade leading DFW.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has scheduled temporary road closures and lane reductions at various locations, dates and times to support key construction activity. The activity will primarily impact northbound traffic on International Parkway, as well as customers exiting Terminals A and B. Detours will be in place to support traffic movement.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) remains one of the world’s busiest airports, retaining its No. 3 position globally for total passenger traffic in 2024, according to Airports Council International (ACI). More than 87.8 million customers traveled through DFW last year – an increase of 7.4 percent compared to 2023 and 17 percent since 2019 – marking the highest growth rate last year among the world’s top three airports (Atlanta, Dubai and DFW).
