Remote North lot reopens, providing additional, affordable parking option
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is implementing adjustments to its parking rates starting May 1, to support ongoing infrastructure and service enhancements. The updated rates are the result of a comprehensive marketplace review to ensure parking products are both competitive and support the airport’s non-aeronautical revenue. DFW has more than $500 million in roadway and parking upgrades planned over the next few years, including the International Parkway project that will transition access to several terminals with modern right-hand exit bridges, as well as the reconstruction and renovation of Terminal C’s parking garages and associated roadways.
The cost for picking up or dropping someone off remains unchanged at $2 for vehicles that are on-premises between 8-30 minutes. DFW continues to have rates that are lower than several airports of similar size. The airport has increased parking rates only twice in the past seven years, during a time in which inflation has dramatically increased the costs of materials and labor.
Customers may continue to save up to 50% on the drive-up rate by prebooking parking online. Additionally, DFW reopened the Remote North parking lot on March 1, which closed during the pandemic. Customers may book Remote North online at promotional rates as low as $4 per day when booked prior to April 14 for travel through May 10.
DFW remains dedicated to offering a range of parking options to meet the needs of all travelers. For more information on parking options and to book in advance, please visit the DFW Airport parking page.
