Updated drive-up rates begin Oct. 1 as airport encourages travelers to choose the fastest, most efficient ways to plan, access and pay
DFW AIRPORT, Texas (Sept. 14, 2026)
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is introducing new discounts for customers who use TollTag as part of updated drive-up parking and airport access rates that will take effect Oct. 1.
Customers who prebook parking at DFWairport.com will continue to receive the airport’s best available parking prices, with discounts of up to 50% off drive-up rates. Customers who do not prebook and take advantage of the steepest discounts available will also now receive lower fixed rates by paying with TollTag, the airport’s fastest and most efficient drive-up payment option.
The changes reflect DFW’s commitment to providing travelers with the best products at fair, market-competitive prices while meeting the operational needs of one of the world’s busiest airports. By providing discount incentives for Prebooked Parking and TollTag, DFW is encouraging customers to choose options that reduce transaction times, keep control plaza lanes moving and lower the airport’s operating costs. Together, these products create a win-win for travelers and the airport by keeping prices lower than they otherwise would be, while also helping DFW prepare for a future in which digital payments can deliver even greater efficiency.
DFW has refined its Prebooked Parking product over several years to provide customers with a best-in-class digital experience. The program was recognized this year by Airports Council International as the best innovation in non-terminal revenue programs. Prebook discounts are based on factors such as how far in advance a customer books, length of stay, the parking product selected and customer demand. Prebooking also allows travelers to plan and pay for parking before arriving at the airport, making it the most efficient and cost-effective way to meet their DFW parking needs.
The rate changes follow DFW’s recurring review of market conditions and will maintain the airport’s competitive pricing among similarly sized U.S. airports. The updated structure establishes fixed TollTag discounts for drive-up daily parking, passenger pickup and drop-off, and trips through the airport.
Under the new rates, for example, the cost to pick up or drop off a passenger will decrease from $2 to $1 for vehicles that remain on airport property between eight and 30 minutes and pay with TollTag. The rate for customers who pay by credit card will increase to $3.
DFW last increased its parking rates in 2024. Since then, inflation has increased material and labor costs, while the airport has completed several roadway improvements. Those projects include new right-hand terminal exits, new bridges and improved roadways designed to make navigating the airport easier and more efficient.
DFW is a self-sustaining enterprise that funds its operations through airline fees and non-aeronautical revenue, including parking, concessions and other commercial activities. This revenue supports airport operations and infrastructure, including the maintenance of DFW’s roadway system, which is fully managed by the airport.
Drive-up parking prices represent the maximum daily rates. Travelers can find the best available parking price and prebook their visit at DFWairport.com.
The new maximum drive-up rates beginning Oct. 1 will be:
| Parking Product | TollTag Payment | Credit Card Payment at Exit |

| Express Covered | $23 | $25 |
| Express Uncovered | $20 | $22 |
