New concessions include North Texas brands, airport firsts and future Terminal F dining and retail creating a sense of Texas welcome
DFW AIRPORT, Texas (June 4, 2026)
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is bringing more local flavor, customer favorites and diverse dining options to customers with the approval of new concessions across Terminals A, B, E and the future Terminal F.
This week, the DFW Airport Board of Directors approved contracts with several North Texas-based brands, nationally recognized favorites and concepts that reflect the region’s culture, creativity and growing food scene. The new locations are part of DFW’s broader strategy to transform the customer experience through DFW Forward, the airport’s $12 billion capital improvement program, which is modernizing terminals, adding gates and expanding customer amenities.
Among the new concepts are Fort Worth-based Ampersand Coffee, Dallas-Fort Worth favorites Mi Cocina and Whataburger, Fort Worth-inspired Stockyards Bar & Grill / Cowtown Supply Co., North Texas-founded Cookie Society, Mama Moore’s and Audrey’s Popcorn, as well as national brands including Panda Express, Popeyes, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Nekter Juice Bar and Sambazon.
“These new concessions reflect what we want the DFW experience to be - local, memorable and built around the needs of today’s traveler,” said Ken Buchanan, DFW’s Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer. “As DFW Forward brings new gates and modernized spaces online, we are using that momentum to create more opportunities for local businesses, expand customer choice and bring the character of North Texas into the terminals.”
A significant portion of the new concessions will be located in the future Terminal F, supporting the next phase of DFW’s growth with a mix of quick-service dining, coffee, frozen treats, travel essentials and local destination concepts.
The new concessions also reinforce DFW’s commitment to small business participation, local entrepreneurship and community impact. Several approved operators are Small Business Enterprise Concessions (SBEC) certified businesses or joint ventures, reflecting DFW’s continued focus on expanding opportunities for small business participation as the airport grows.
Some of the newly approved concepts also bring community-focused missions to DFW. The Bridge will partner with The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center and UpSpire to support workforce development and recovery initiatives, with up to 5% of sales dedicated to those organizations.
Stockyards Bar & Grill / Cowtown Supply Co. has committed to supporting The Herd in Fort Worth through annual contributions totaling $1.2 million over the life of the lease. These concepts reflect DFW's commitment to creating opportunities that extend beyond the airport and into the communities it serves.
