DFW customers cashed in on the Airport’s third annual “Orange Wednesday” on Nov. 14, saving more than $1.1 million on the drive-up rate for Terminal Parking. The one-day sale for Terminal Parking allowed customers to prepay for any travel between Nov. 14 and the end of February 2019. More than 12,000 customers logged on to DFWairport.com and took advantage of the sale. There was so much web traffic, DFW Airport had to increase bandwidth to keep up with demand.
DFW’s Prepaid Parking is available year-round and saves customers up to 50% for Remote, Express and Terminal parking. The online booking system officially launched in April 2018. Since then, more than 100,000 customers have booked their parking online.
