DFW AIRPORT, Texas — Feb. 26, 2021 — Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport was recognized as a 2021 Best Place for Working Parents™ Resources Innovator Award during Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price’s final State of the City address on Feb. 25.
The Best Place for Working Parents™ recognizes businesses that apply an innovative approach to supporting working parents through events, family resources and research-backed policies that positively impact employee attraction, retention, satisfaction, and productivity. DFW Airport was announced as one of the three organizations recognized by Mayor Price.

These three 2021 Innovator Awardees – Bank of Texas, Byrne Construction Services and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport – are proving that family-friendly is business-friendly. - Weekly farmers’ market (pre-COVID)
- Ranking as the Healthiest Employer in Texas

Finalists for the second annual awards were nominated through an online assessment platform that allows participants to gauge how family-friendly their workplace was using the 10 family-friendly research-backed policies that positively impact employee attraction, retention, satisfaction and productivity.
