Busiest Travel Days at DFW
DFW is expecting to welcome an estimated 3 million travelers during the Thanksgiving travel period between Nov. 20 and Dec. 2. Expect heavy traffic, especially on our peak travel days, including the Friday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Saturday and Sunday following.
Add Extra Travel Time to Your Plan
DFW recommends travelers add 60-90 minutes to their normal arrival schedule but arrive no less than two hours prior to a domestic flight and three hours prior to an international flight.
