DFW AIRPORT, Texas (Nov. 13, 2025)
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has scheduled various roadway closures for this upcoming weekend to support key construction activity underway to complete the new bridge into Terminal A as part of the International Parkway Project. The most impactful closure will be from Saturday evening into Sunday morning when a portion of southbound International Parkway will be reduced to a single lane.
Detours will be in place to support all closures outlined below. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early to navigate any potential traffic, closures and construction they may encounter.
N. Service Road Closed Friday Evening into Sunday Morning
From 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 through 7 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, a portion of N. Service Road will be closed. This will temporarily prevent northbound traffic driving through the airport on N. Service Road and will be redirected to S. Airfield Drive to W. Airfield Drive. This closure does not impact traffic accessing any airport terminals.
South Exit Closures at Terminals A and B
From 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 through 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, all traffic exiting Terminal A will be directed to the North Exit to merge with northbound traffic on International Parkway.
Then, from 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 through the morning of Sunday, Nov. 16, customers exiting both Terminals A and B will be directed to the North Exit.
Customers seeking a southbound exit from the terminal area during these times can take the left-hand U-turn before the North Exit Plaza to return southbound.
S. International Parkway Lane Reduction Saturday Evening into Sunday Morning
From 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 through 8 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, a portion of International Parkway will be reduced to one lane for southbound traffic. All existing terminal access will remain open during the lane reduction. Signage will be in place to guide traffic.
Additional Detours Underway for 90-day Construction Phase
As part of the ongoing 90-day phase to complete the new bridge into Terminal A, additional closures and detours are underway to support construction activity. During this phase, Terminal A will only be accessible via the southbound entrance from International Parkway.
