Construction Notice: DFW Airport Schedules Reduced Overnight Operations of Skylink to Support Construction Activity

DFW AIRPORT, Texas (Feb. 11, 2026)

This month, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has scheduled a set of modified overnight schedules of the airport’s Automated People Mover, Skylink, to support key construction activity for the ongoing construction of Terminal F. The construction activity is scheduled to take place on four nights across a period of approximately 10 days during condensed timeframes between 8 p.m. and 11 a.m. the next morning. The following scheduled dates are subject to change due to weather and other factors:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 11 – Thursday, Feb. 12
  • Monday, Feb. 16 – Tuesday, Feb. 17
  • Wednesday, Feb. 18 – Thursday, Feb. 19
  • Saturday, Feb. 21 - Sunday, Feb. 22

Connecting Between Terminals During Modified Skylink Operation

During these timeframes, access to all Skylink stations will remain available; however, DFW will implement a modified operation of the Skylink system to support the construction activity. The primary impact to customers will be increased travel and wait times when connecting between Terminal D and Terminal E due to a closed portion of the Skylink track.

Customers should allow additional time when connecting between terminals. Additionally, a walking connection is available between Terminals A, B, C and D; however, Skylink is required when connecting to Terminal E in the post-security area. An interactive map of the terminal can be found on the DFW Airport mobile app, available for iOS and Android, or on the airport’s website at dfwairport.com/map.
