Prebook Parking Continues to Grow as Customers Turn to the Convenience of Planning Ahead

Next time you come to the airport, just don’t park in Colton’s spot.
For the next year, Colton Selvidge of East Texas will be the first – and only – traveler with a parking spot waiting just for him each time he departs from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), after becoming the airport’s one-millionth Prebooked Parking customer since the program launched in 2018. To celebrate the milestone, DFW is awarding Colton a full year of free airport parking, along with his own reserved parking sign to commemorate the special achievement.
Colton became the millionth customer after reserving parking at Terminal E for a recent leisure trip. His vehicle was new to DFW’s parking system, reflecting the program’s continued growth among both returning and first-time travelers.
“Reaching one million prebooked parking customers is a powerful example of how customer-focused innovation can transform the airport experience,” said Paul Puopolo, DFW’s Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. “Through smart technology and digital tools, we’re making it easier for customers who drive to the airport to save time, save money and move through our airport with confidence.”
While Colton is the only customer with a free space at DFW, all airport customers can use code 1MTHANKS for bookings made between Feb. 25, 2026, and 11:59 p.m. March 4, 2026 for parking dates from Feb. 25-May 10, 2026, to receive an additional 20% off all prebooked parking products. The program has grown from 45,000 customers in its first year to its one-millionth customer – and beyond. Today, 25% of DFW parkers prebook online, securing the best available rates and reserving their preferred parking product prior to arrival.
