Traveling with Children

The TSA is required to screen everyone, regardless of age (even babies), before they can go through the security checkpoint.  Read these tips on how to make this process go more smoothly.

Acceptable Checkpoint Identification

Driver's licenses and passports are the preferred identification at security checkpoints. The TSA has a list of all acceptable forms of identification.

Travelers With Disabilities and Medical Conditions

TSA has established a program for screening of persons with disabilities and their associated equipment, mobility aids and devices.

Global Entry

DFW’s Global Entry office is located at Terminal D, Lower Level, just outside of the International Arrivals area. Follow the overhead sign to Global Entry, which is south of International Arrivals area, along the outside hallway.  The overhead Global Entry signage will point to a door with a "Department of Homeland Security" seal on it.

TSA Pre✓™

The TSA Pre✓™ experience ensures a quicker way through airport security screening, faster moving lines and an overall improved travel experience. TSA Pre✓™ is available and travelers can inquire about the program at the TSA Pre✓™ Enrollment Centers on the pre-secure area of Terminal D and Terminal C.The enrollment center in Terminal D is located north of the Gate 30 checkpoint, north of the American Airlines ticket counters. The enrollment center in Terminal C is located past security near gate C11. Both enrollment centers are open Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm CST. 

The enrollment center accepts walk-ins but encourage travelers to make an appointment.

Enroll now at the TSAPreCheck™ Enrollment Centers in Terminal D and Terminal C. The enrollment center at Terminal is located at the north ticketing hall, north of the Gate 30 checkpoint. The other Enrollment Center is located past security near Gate C11.
