Spirit Airlines Announces Service Between Myrtle Beach and DFW International Airport

Spirit Airlines today announced that it will begin offering three non-stop flights per week between Myrtle Beach and Dallas/Fort Worth starting May 3, 2012.  
To celebrate the new seasonal service, Spirit is offering $28.79 introductory fares, which is a $9.00 base fare plus taxes and fees,* between Myrtle Beach and Dallas/Fort Worth (each way based on round trip purchase) available today and tomorrow only at www.spirit.com.

"We are pleased to see Spirit Airlines growing its presence at DFW Airport by adding service three days a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sunday) to Myrtle Beach starting May 3, 2012," said Jeff Fegan, CEO of DFW International Airport. "Spirit's combination of low fares and fun-loving attitude have proven very popular with passengers, and are among the reasons DFW Airport has gained over 800,000 new passengers over the last year from low-cost carriers like Spirit.
