The prospective development area is located on approximately 600 acres at the southern gateway into DFW Airport. It is a proposed mixed-use development capable of accommodating multiple big box retail anchors, junior anchors, and supporting specialty retail shops and restaurants. In addition to the retail components offered in the development; industrial/warehouse and garden office opportunities will also be available. Suitably positioned at the corner of Valley View Lane, the park offers convenient access to State Highway 183, and visibility to State Highway 161.
Given DFW’s location in the center of the Metroplex, and the ease of access provided by the surrounding roadway system, the proposed development is well positioned for increased growth and benefits from the proximity and visibility of the southern airport entry. The location allows for the creation of a new retail, restaurant and office corridor at the corner of Valley View Lane and State Highway 183, with industrial uses clustered at the interior of the park and to the north. Higher finish office and industrial expansion, coupled with the existing greenbelt, will serve as a buffer along the southern side. With visiblility from Valley View Lane, and State Highways 183 and 161, the development benefits from the extension of Rochelle Road; which will provide convenient access to the retail, office and warehouse components of this development.
