The Hyatt Place DFW at Southgate Plaza recently celebrated its one year anniversary and continues to have numerous reasons to celebrate. The casual hospitality and purposeful service in a smartly designed, high-tech and contemporary environment have all played a role in assisting Hyatt Place DFW to exceed performance expectations month after month. “The hotel continues to outpace its performance targets year over year. This is a true testament to DFW’s strategic investment in amenities that directly address its growing customer needs,” said Smitha Radhakrishnan, Senior Land and Facilities Development Manager with DFW Airport.     

Occupancy rates in September were up by 5% compared to the same time in 2016. Medallia, a third party guest review scoring company used by major brand hotels, continues to show fantastic results, ranking Hyatt Place DFW as #1 out of 256 Hyatt Place Hotels in the Americas in the categories of: staff sincerely cared, customer service, and condition and cleanliness of guest rooms. “This #1 ranking along with various other awards and accolades is a compliment to the Hyatt Place staff and their drive to provide excellent customer service,” said Sue Kunze, Lease and Property Manager with DFW Airport.

Recent service launches include a new innovative breakfast experience and menu gallery with high-quality ingredients and customizable dining options, and expansion of complimentary shuttle service to meet demands to and from the terminals and anywhere within three miles of the hotel. Additionally, Hyatt Place DFW was recognized as the “Official Best Airport Hotel in Texas” by the Official Best of Texas 2017, a branded customer survey based ranking service.
