Since 1995, the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport's Fire Training Research Center (FTRC) has provided groundbreaking Aircraft Rescue Firefighting and structural training in an innovative learning environment.
Our programs are tailored for airport firefighters to experience the internationally renowned world-class training available at the FTRC. Whether seeking a beginning course or advanced ARFF firefighter training, we have the right course for you. A large portion of our courses began as custom courses for specific departments, and have developed over time to meet the needs, goals, and objectives of many departments.
We keep class sizes small to ensure everyone has ample opportunity for a hands-on experience. Typically, there are no more than six students per instructor. Combined, our full time instructors have over 150 years of experience. The firefighters, captains, and battalion chiefs that come to the FTRC to instruct are active firefighters and can go back to shift anytime. Instructors want to be here and are excited about the different departments and courses that come through the training center each week.
