Nonstop service to Dublin and Munich begins Summer 2019

Dublin Munich Gif 2018 FINAL
From the breathtaking countryside to the sights and sounds of Oktoberfest, travelers can plan to add two new, exciting destinations to their bucket list.

DFW welcomes nonstop service to Dublin, Ireland, and Munich, Germany, in Summer 2019 from American Airlines.

With these new flights, DFW Airport will provide its first ever nonstop service to Ireland, and its third daily nonstop flight to Germany.
  • The Dublin route will operate with the Boeing Dreamliner 787-9 aircraft, starting June 6 and flying daily through September 18.  The flight will include an 8:35 p.m. evening departure, arriving in Dublin at 11:40 a.m. the following morning.  The aircraft will have a short turnaround time of about two hours, departing Dublin for DFW at 1:40 p.m. and arriving at DFW at 5:45 p.m.
  • The Munich route will operate with the Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 aircraft, starting June 6 and flying daily through October 26. Departure is scheduled for 3:10 p.m. in the afternoon, with an arrival at 8:10 a.m. the following morning. The return flight departs Munich at 10:55 a.m. and arrives at DFW at 3 p.m.
From Europe, customers can connect at DFW to more than 90 domestic destinations in the Midwest and western U.S., and more than 30 business and leisure markets throughout Canada and Latin America.

The launch of Dublin and Munich service will give DFW a total of 59 international destinations and 235 unique destinations. The new destinations will be DFW’s eighth and ninth European cities served.

DFW continues to expand its horizons by adding new destinations for customers to choose from. Since August 2010, DFW has added 21 new destinations, showing the continued commitment of the Airport to bring more international passenger and cargo service to the Dallas Fort Worth region.

Stay tuned for more updates on Dublin and Munich as we inch closer to the inaugural flights.
