On February 24, 2011, DFW International Airport began a seven-year Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP). The program will relife and remodel the Airport’s legacy Terminals - A, B, C and E. The goal for TRIP is to improve the overall travel experience for DFW passengers by enhancing concessions, expanding security check-points, reconfiguring ticket counters and improving parking. TRIP began on Thursday, February 24, 2011, however the construction will not be noticeable to passengers until later in the year.
With the many changes beginning to take place, DFW Airport recently launched the “(re)defining your airport” theme to clearly communicate what changes are coming and when, ultimately helping to ensure the best travel experience possible for passengers. The "(re)defining your airport" theme will continue to grow as TRIP moves forward. For more information and to check for updates regarding the construction, visit www.dfwairport.com/redefine.
