During the month of April, DFW was proud to provide a small glimpse of Spain at the Airport in recognition of the new daily nonstop service to Madrid, Spain on American Airlines that started May 1.
Activities were planned every Thursday and Friday during the month of April in International Terminal D, from where the new flight now departs.
April 2 and 3
DFW passengers enjoyed scrumptious tapas from Café Madrid served in Terminal D at Gate D22 just past the checkpoint and at Gate D36 by the Skylink escalators.
April 9 and 10
Passengers were entertained by Spanish dancers at Gate D36.
April 16 and 17
Guests were able to listen to Flamenco-style musicians play at Gate D36.
April 23 and 24
DFW passengers encountered true Spanish flair by interacting with roaming actors dressed in traditional Spanish dress near gates D22 and D36. Also performing on April 24 was the W.H. Adamson High School Jazz Orchestra, complimenting the Spanish environment with their award-winning music.
DFW is proud to have an extensive international route network spanning four continents. With the addition of service to Madrid, passengers can fly nonstop to 37 international destinations from DFW, including a total of five in Europe.
