DFW Offers New Service To Southeast Texas
This New Flight Presents More Travel Choices for North Texans
DFW Airport is pleased to announce daily service to Beaumont/Port Arthur beginning May 24. Three daily, non-stop flights to Southeast Texas Regional Airport will simplify the route for travelers who would normally fly to Houston and then drive to Beaumont/Port Arthur.

The new flights will benefit North Texas businesses with offices in Southeast Texas, and the ties between the two regions will certainly be strengthened. The daily flights will make life simpler for the business traveler, and open up new options for families planning to visit either Southeast or North Texas.

Delta Air Lines will provide the regional jet service through Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), one of its Delta Connection carriers. Delta has significantly increased its average daily departures from DFW through the use of such regional jets. Approximately 78 percent of Delta’s flights from DFW are on Delta Connection carriers ASA, Comair and SkyWest. As the second-largest airline at DFW with more than 260 daily departures, the Beaumont/Port Arthur flight will increase Delta’s destinations from DFW to a total of 74.

Flights from DFW to Beaumont/Port Arthur will depart daily at 9:30 a.m., 3:50 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Returning flights will depart Beaumont/Port Arthur at 5:45 a.m., 11:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. Look for DFW’s “Shower of Affection” in Terminal E, with cookies, sodas and banners welcoming the new flight on May 24.

Presenting a variety of travel choices to North Texans is important to DFW Airport. By increasing its number of destinations, travelers have access to more cities, more frequently. The new nonstop service to Beaumont/Port Arthur will bring DFW’s nonstop domestic routes total to 135, solidifying its position as the preeminent mid-continent hub.
