DFW Offers New Service To Las Vegas
With Twenty Flights a Day, Odds Are Good You Can Fly When You’re Ready
Whether you visit Las Vegas for the gambling, shows, temperate climate or sightseeing, making travel plans to this exciting destination just got easier. DFW Airport is pleased to announce two new daily nonstop flights to one of the world’s biggest playgrounds, Las Vegas. The new service began February 11 on AirTran Airways, offering North Texans an additional low-fare option to the city.

DFW Airport now has four airlines with regular flights to Las Vegas: American Airlines, Delta, America West and AirTran. With a choice of 20 flights per day, North Texans can easily fly to Las Vegas at any time. The new AirTran flights will give a boost to the already steady stream of traffic at DFW Airport going to and coming from Las Vegas, which is one of the most popular leisure destinations for North Texans.

The AirTran flights from DFW to Las Vegas depart at 8 a.m. and 1:35 p.m. daily. Returning flights leave Las Vegas at 9:40 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Approximate travel time is less than three hours. The flights are all on Boeing 717s, seating 117 people each. This nonstop service to Las Vegas gives North Texans one more reason to take a vacation.

DFW Airport currently has five low-fare carriers: Frontier, America West, Sun Country, ATA and AirTran. These five airlines serve eight cities across the United States and Cancun, Mexico. AirTran is one of the nation’s largest low-fare airlines and also has one of the youngest jet fleets in the nation. The Las Vegas flight brings AirTran’s total flights per day departing DFW to 11. In addition to Las Vegas, AirTran passengers can fly nonstop to three other U.S. destinations from DFW Airport: Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington and Orlando.

DFW Airport is pleased to offer more flight options to such an exciting destination, and hopes you’ll take advantage of the frequent flights and choice of carriers for your next flight to Las Vegas. When you’re ready for some fun in Las Vegas, place your bet with DFW Airport – the Airport that’s got you covered 20 times a day, every day.
