Have you ever returned to DFW Airport from a fabulous vacation
or promising business trip only to realize that you forgot
where you parked your car? Or, have you successfully located
your vehicle but were unlucky enough to find that the battery
had died?
Unfortunately, car trouble is sometimes unavoidable and usually
occurs at the most inconvenient time. At DFW, we will try
to ensure that these types of things do not ruin your trip
through the Airport!
DFW is proud to introduce Guest Assistance vehicles as part
of the Airport’s new parking initiatives and enhanced
safety measures. Guest Assistance vehicles are currently operated
by DFW’s Department of Public Safety and can be found
patrolling Terminal Parking in search of passengers needing
assistance such as locating lost cars, inflating flat tires
or battery jump starts.
Since the Guest Assistance vehicles continuously drive through
Terminal Parking, the program also serves as an enhanced security
measure, fulfilling a mandate put in place by the FAA.
For immediate assistance, guests may dial 972 574 HELP (4357),
or contact a DFW Airport customer service representative located
at terminal curbside.
The new Guest Assistance vehicle program will help maintain
a sense of confidence that DFW passengers always can find
a friendly face to help them while they are guests of the
Airport. The program is one in a series of customer service
enhancements designed to improve the parking experience at
every point of the DFW travel process.
