| With the unveiling of
new roadway signage by DFW Airport this fall, parking at DFW
will be as easy as A, B, C… and P.
The "P" icon that will debut on DFW's new roadway
signage is the international symbol for parking that is recognized
around the world. This symbol will be associated with each
parking product available to DFW guests when they enter the
Airport, making roadway signage quicker and easier to read.
Other airports in the United States and in Europe are using
the parking icon on their signage with much success. In addition,
it is already in use in North Texas, on signage for venues
such as downtown Dallas and Fort Worth commercial parking
facilities and Texas Stadium.
DFW's $18 million signage program was initiated to improve
the experience of our customers, funding new roadway signs
that will make it easier to navigate through the Airport.
The blue and white easy-to-read signs will have better visibility
for guests during both day and night.
This fall, be on the lookout for the "P" - the international
parking icon - and the new roadway signage that will improve
your driving and parking experience at DFW Airport. |
