| DFW is pleased to welcome
a new air carrier to the Airport and new destinations for DFW
passengers.
SkyWest, DFW's newest airline and a Delta Connection carrier,
now offers nonstop regional jet service from DFW to Pensacola,
Florida and will add service to Tallahassee, Florida in January
2002.
Both Pensacola and Tallahassee are new destinations for DFW,
increasing the number of domestic markets served by the Airport
to 129. DFW provides nonstop service to nearly 160 destinations
worldwide.
DFW's daily nonstop service to Pensacola began in November.
Two additional daily flights will be added in December. Twice-daily
nonstop service to Tallahassee begins in January.
SkyWest Airlines, along with Atlantic Southeast and Comair,
are Delta Connection carriers - carriers that operate regional
jets throughout North America for the comfort and convenience
of passengers. DFW's new SkyWest flights will be operated
with 50-passenger Canadair regional jet aircraft.
In addition, Delta Connection carriers began three-times-daily
nonstop service from DFW to Birmingham this fall. Delta Connection
also re-launched service to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina
and will re-launch service to Greensboro, North Carolina in
December. All destinations will be served by regional jets.
DFW is proud to add a new carrier and new destinations for the
benefit of its passengers. Look for additional destinations
to be announced by Delta Connection carriers from DFW in 2002. |
