| This
winter, be sure to take advantage of DFWs new service
to the Taos Ski Valley to enjoy a season of New Mexico
alpine skiing!
Taos Ski Valley offers alpine skiing in the Rocky Mountains
of Taos, New Mexico. With a base at 9,207 feet and peak
elevations reaching almost 12,000 feet, Taos Ski Valley
is the second highest ski resort in North America, offering
over 315 inches of snow each year. There are 11 lifts,
72 runs, 1,100 skiable acres and 2,612 feet of vertical
drop in the Taos Ski Valley. Yet, because of its southern
latitude, it averages 304 days a year of warm, sunny
New Mexico skies and an average winter temperature of
34 degrees.
All flights depart and return to DFW on Sundays and
Thursdays starting January 11. Flights are available
January 11 through March 31, 2000.
