The 2009 Airport Development Plan (ADP) Update Executive Summary is a full-color presentation capturing the essence of DFW’s planning efforts. This informative document includes numerous full-color graphs, charts, photographs and artist renderings of the Airport’s long-term vision.
The ADP Executive Summary is a synopsis of the findings and recommendations of an 18-month study, the details of which are contained in an eight-volume technical report.
The ADP examines all aspects of DFW, from facilities to customer service to daily operations, and defines the mission of the Airport.
In July 2007, the DFW Planning Department launched an udpate to the ADP to identify the bold vision to be realized over the 20-year planning horizon. Referred to as “VFR 2030: VISION of the FUTURE. REALIZED,” this effort establishes the roadmap to renew the infrastructure, modernize the terminals, and prepare the Airport for the challenges of the future.
