DFW Airport is proud to announce the addition of EVA Air’s sixth weekly cargo flight with service to Asia, Australia and beyond. The carrier transports high-value items such as telecommunications equipment, integrated circuits, electronics, computers, perishables, valuable artwork and exotic fruits. Starting its service at DFW in 1998, EVA Air currently has the largest market share of DFW’s freighters and is the largest cargo carrier in Taiwan.
The new service is expected to generate an estimated $2.2 million to the local economy. With the addition of EVA Air’s new flight, DFW now has 26 international cargo flights per week, serving 8 countries and generating more than $50 million in economic impact annually.
With its central location, enormous capacity and low cost structure, DFW will continue to bring new cargo service to the Airport and drive increased economic benefits for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
