Osaka, Japan is the newest stop on Singapore Airlines Cargo’s DFW route. On September 4, 2008, Singapore Airlines' Thursday flight began following this route: Singapore-Hong Kong-DFW-Osaka-Singapore. This flight represents DFW's first cargo service to Japan.

EVA Air’s weekly DFW flight count will increase to six flights per week beginning in September 2008. The carrier’s weekly flights dropped from seven to four earlier in the year, however, increased cargo loads now call for an increased flight count. Even with these fluctuations, EVA Air Cargo has maintained an impressive growth rate of more than 18 percent annually since 2000.
