Connected Home Page Gets New Look

Connected Online has a new update that will assist employees in finding news more quickly by having instant access to numerous categories of information and continue to improve on current two-way communications and feedback tools.

More than 85 percent of employees said they use Connected Online for their job functions and duties, but also use it to learn more about benefits and to stay informed on events, announcements and news at DFW. This update to the Homepage is designed to enhance your overall experience on Connected Online and give you more of the information you need.

The new design will take some time, but let us know what you think.

Hi Doc: I had a couple of questions regarding what you see on the Connected Homepage. Your comment below stated you see a large blank spot in the upper left hand corner. If this is true, you may want to call IT as you should see several pictures in Flash (similar to the external Web site). I find the web site and the content to be very useful, however the layout is somewhat cumbersome at times for a novice at the computer. Also what is the large blank spot in the upper left hand corner of the home page all about? May I suggest downloading some colorful pictures of the airport to fill in the blank.

WOW! The new webpage is awesome. Everytime I link onto it, it has exciting and new features. They just grab my attention. Very sleak and interesting. Colors are vivid and dynamic. Fun. Thank you for giving us a creative and fun interactive tool to connect us to each other! DS

I think it looks great! I would like to see the navagation bars on the top and bottom of the home page repeated on each page though. Keeping the Employee Self Service, DFW Test Center and the other frequently used links along the bottom was a great idea.
