While the LiveWell Center is a nice facility, it ins't very accommodating to shift workers. It's a great service to the 9 to 5 crowd.

Any chance of getting the tennis courts swept at least once a week? Maybe a leaf blower could help clear the courts of debris? Also, it would be great if you could work on keeping the blue curtains around the courts in place. When those are left open, rain, leaves, etc. get inside and really mess up the the playing surface. I know the curtains get opened for events but closing them back should be a part of the clean up process. Having these resurfaced tennis courts is a great luxury and I wish they'd be maintained accordingly.

I would like to request that exercise dance classes be added to the curriculum at the Wellness Center, such as salsa, jazzercise, line dancing, whatever. These are fun, they get you up and moving, they don't require partners, and they aid in weight loss. Fun!

Parking and Bussing have a hard time getting to board functions due to staffing requirements. It would be better if the events could be held on different days and at different times. One day from 07:30 to 13:30, then a day from 13:00-19:00 and a day 09:00-15:00. This will give those that work on the Midnights and Days shifts a chance to go after work hours, and the Evening a chance to go before reporting into work.

The group that was there this year to do the bloodwork seemed to be quite inexperienced. It took several attempts on one of my coworkers. It also seemed to take an excessive amount of time to get the results back. I would also like to see the food being served be more friendly towards those workers who are vegetarians. And why are we serving cookies at a health fair? I am fortunate enough to work in an area that encourages participation in airport events, however, my husband is not so lucky and had to come on one of the alternate days as a result. Why not schedule the event on two back to back days from 0800 - 1630 or so? That way more of the employees would be able to come and not have the worry that they might not get the apple in order to get their checks at the end of the year.

I feel that the Airport Community would be better served itf the Bloodwork Screening could be completed at varios work stations on the airport, one week prior to the Heath Fair. IE, on Monday, DPS Station 1, Tuesday, Admin, Wednesday Remote North, Wednesday, Business Center, Friday, DPS Station 5. Makeup Day will be at the Health Fair. Times should vary to account for shift workers and shift changes.

I have noticed this with several events recently. If the event is scheduled from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, then by 2:00 pm everyone is packing up and getting ready to leave. To many of the shift workers, they cannot come at the beginning of an event and often have to come toward the end of the event. I think this cheats them out of the full experience. I arrived at the Health Fair about 45 minutes before the end and was very disappointed to see many of the exhibits already gone or preparing to leave well before the scheduled end of the event.

We are asked to fast for the bloodwork but we have to wait till 11am or later to do this? Why not start it earlier in the day, say 7am and let people comae as they wish.

The lines this year were just as long as they were last year at the health fair. If you are going to offer the screens on four days anyway why not do the screenings alphabetically, i.e. 1st day letters of last name A-H; 2nd day I-N; 3rd day O-Z and then on the last day for anyone who was not able to go on their scheduled day. You can still have the health fair on the first day with the vendors but then you would not have as many people standing in line just to get their numbers.

I feel we need more encouragement from our managers to partake in Livewell programs like WW and to eat healthy at work.
