Employee or Contractor Identification Badge

Print Send Bookmark
DFW Airport Board employees and Airport Board contractors who require access to Airport Board campus facilities and do not possess either a SIDA or a Non-SIDA badge may apply for the white Employee/Contractor Identification Badge. This badge may be programmed to enable after-hours access to specific buildings, if needed. There is no fee for Airport Board employees for this badge. Airport Board contractors must pay the fee that is required for Airport Identification/Access Badges, which is listed in the DFW Airport Board Schedule of Charges in the Other Charges section (see Fees and Charges). There is also no Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) requirement to be met for an Employee or Contractor Identification Badge, but the ACO must receive an approved Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment (STA) result prior to badge issuance. Generally, the STA results are returned anywhere from four (4) business days up to two (2) weeks. To complete the DFW Airport Access Badge Application, please follow the instructions listed below:

1. You may complete all fields in the EMPLOYEE section of the form online, then print, sign and date the form under Employee Signature and under Applicant’s Signature.
2. If you do not complete the EMPLOYEE section online, you must print legibly and complete all fields in the EMPLOYEE section using black or dark blue ink only, then sign and date the form under Employee Signature and under Applicant’s Signature.
3. Please note that all correction tapes/fluids are prohibited (if you make a mistake, please complete a new form) and that applications are not to be folded or to be copied double sided (front and back).
4. Upon completion of the EMPLOYEE section, take the application to your employer for a duly authorized agent of the company to complete the EMPLOYER section, including signature and date of signature. Contractors, please note that if your company is new to DFW Airport, a Company Profile form must be completed and returned to the ACO prior to badge issuance.
5. Upon completion of the EMPLOYER section, take the application to an authorized Airport Board badge sponsor for signature, date of signature, designation of badge color (white for Employee/Contractor badges), expiration and access matrixes.
6. Applications must be presented to the ACO within thirty (30) days from the date of the authorized Airport Board badge sponsor’s signature and will not be accepted after the thirty (30) day period.
7. Bring the completed application to the ACO along with the following required identification when you come to turn in your application and again when you come to be photographed for your badge:
a. A valid government issued photo ID from List A or List B on the List of Acceptable Documents;
b. If your valid government issued photo ID is from List B, you must also bring a document that is on List C on the List of Acceptable Documents; and
c. A document containing your name and street address of your current place of residence (ex. electric bill, water bill, credit card statement, etc.). Please note that if you use your driver’s license as your valid government issued photo ID and it contains your current street address, you do not have to provide another document to verify your current place of residence.
