| The color treatment for police cars is a panel of DFW Gradient Blue applied to both sides of a white vehicle. The front end of the panel is Light Blue, the rear end is Dark Blue. For specifications of the gradient see the Color Palette page in the Identity section of these guidelines. Color matching of the gradient is based on Coated versions of Pantone chips.
In each panel is a specially formatted version of the linear Airstream illustration in white. The size and cropping of the Extended Airstream is based on universal artwork for all vehicle types, provided in the Downloads section. Relative orientation of the Airstream, extending from the front of the vehicle towards the rear, is as shown on these elevations. |
Positioned adjacent to the Airstream is the identification for "Police," in a specially created version of Avenir Black letterforms in white with gray outlines. At the rear end of the panel is the DFW acronym and vehicle identification number in white. | ||||||||||||||
