| FORD F-150
Most service vehicles require simple identification using the DFW Logo
with the service department name. This page illustrates how these two
elements are applied on a pickup truck; these same principles apply to
other vehicle types, such as cars and vans. For any questions, contact: |

| Brand identification
of service vehicles consists of the DFW Logo and the airport department
name, applied to the driver and passenger doors. The Logo should be horizontally
centered on the door with a sufficient amount of clear space between it
and the door and window edges, mirrors, and door handles.
The Gradient Blue DFW Logo, without the Logotype, is applied in vinyl decal. Color matching of the Gradient Blue Logo shall be based on Coated versions of Pantone chips. The white border on the Logo should always be maintained, whether the Logo is to be applied to a white or colored vehicle. |
Positioned below
the Logo is the department name in Avenir 85 Heavy (for Macintosh) capital
letters, applied in vinyl decal. The department name is arranged flush-right
with the Logo, in the size and spacing relationship shown in the layout
and clear space example on this page. Long department names should be arranged
in two lines. The maximum line width is no more than 2x beyond the left
edge of the Logo. Typography color on light color vehicles is Black. On
dark or mid-value (40% tonal value or darker) vehicles the typography is
white.
Do not apply any other graphic elements to vehicle, except for necessary safety or regulatory reasons. For specifications of the DFW Logo, clear space, Logo on color backgrounds, color palette and typography see the Identity section of these guidelines. |
