 |  | Jeffrey Wentworth served on the Fort Worth City Council, District 7, from 1997 to 2003. A resident of Fort Worth for more than 30 years, Mr. Wentworth retired from NationsBank (now Bank of America) after 25 years of service. Prior to retiring, he was the regional manager for the Fort Worth region. In this capacity, he was responsible for the general operations of 21 banks in the Fort Worth area.
An active member of the local community, Mr. Wentworth has served on the DFW Airport Board since September 2003. He was elected Secretary to the Board in February 2011. He is past chairman of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and also has served on the boards of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show, Downtown Fort Worth Inc., and the North Texas Commission. He is past chairman of the board for both the United Way of Metropolitan Tarrant County and the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
In 1995, Mr. Wentworth was the recipient of the National Conference of Christians and Jews Brotherhood/Sisterhood Citation Award. Mr. Wentworth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in Babson Park, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, and attended the South Texas College of Law. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Wentworth is past president of the Dallas Association of Investment Analysts. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy. |
